Advent House is an outreach ministry of the Perinton Ecumenical Ministries, Inc. We are supported by the people of the churches and community at large, grants, United Way Donor Option, special events, memorials and donations.

There are several ways to support Advent House.

Advent House holds three major fundraisers throughout the year:

Casa Larga Gala is scheduled for Friday, March 28, 2008, 6 PM. It’s an enchanting evening of music, fine dining at a local winery, dancing, together with 2 auctions, a silent auction and a live auction. You may donate items to be auctioned off and receive a tax donation certificate, purchase a program advertisement or plan to attend this festive occasion. You may find you’d like to do all! Annual Garage Sale is a community event and takes place Friday, August 22nd from 9am-7pm and Saturday, August 23rd, 9am-4pm at the VFW Post 8495, 300 Macedon Center Road, Fairport, NY.  Starting in May, donations of household items can be delivered to the house. We do not accept large appliances, clothing, books (except children’s books), bowling balls, mattresses or computers. Furniture in good condition is always welcome and pickup can be arranged. A tax donation certificate will also be provided to you. Call the House for more information. If you’d prefer the fun of bargain hunting and finding treasures, then this is the place to be on a Friday and Saturday in August. Plan to join us!

Annual Golf Tournament will be held on September 19, 1 PM, (shotgun start) at Victor Hills Golf Course. (Note: this is a new date and time). This is a scramble format so players of every level are encouraged to attend. Again, prize donations, advertising and corporate hole sponsorship are accepted for this event. Fees include lunch, refreshments, dinner, awards and prizes and some great camaraderie. Why not put together a foursome and join us? Need an invitation or ad sponsorship form?
